Sterling Hayden stars in this Stanley Kubrick crime noir classic based on Lionel White's crime novel Clean Break. Hayden plays Johnny Clay, an ex-con with a plan to steal $2 million from a San Francisco racetrack. He assembles an odd collection of tough guys and moles to participate in the heist. But just as there is no such thing as the perfect murder, there is no such thing as the perfect crime...The Killing is one of the most intense noir heist films ever made.
In Reno a man kills a girl he likes and her boyfriend out of jealousy; it may not be the first time. A woman whose divorce has just come through finds the bodies but decides to not become involved. The two meet the next day on the train to San Francisco unaware of this link between them. They are attracted to each other, and the relationship survives his marriage to her half-sister for money and status. It even survives the woman discovering that he was the murderer, though she may not realize how easily someone who has killed this way before can do so again.

"Bonnie and Clyde" is the story of two young Texas adults who, bored with their lives and the prospects of going nowhere, decide to live out their dreams of stardom by going on a crime spree. They fancy themselves a sort of "Romeo and Juliet" couple, and think of their robberies as mere harmless fun. They start out by knocking over grocery stores and gas stations, but soon graduate to banks when they need more money to accomodate their lifestyle. Soon they have a simple-minded gas clerk named C.W. and Clyde's brother and wife in the gang, and the duo goes down into history.
Then the fun and games are over. With law enforcement officials now looking for Bonnie and Clyde, they become the targets of bounty hunters, unethical cops and others out to make a name for themselves, and they lose a part of their childish innocence as the escalation of their crimes become more and more violent. When death finally comes for Bonnie and Clyde, it comes with a vengeance.

Promoter Frankie Christopher (Victor Mature) is grilled by police in the murder of model Vicky Lynn (Carole Landis). Frankie recalls in flashback first meeting her as a waitress, and decides to parlay her beauty into social acceptance and a lucrative career. He succeeds only too well, as she is on her way to deserting him for Hollywood, when someone kills her. Frankie gets the feeling that Inspector Ed Cornell is determined to pin the murder on him and only him. The only one he can turn to for help is Jill Lynn (Betty Grable), the victim's sister, who's been cool towards him. Excellent film noir thriller.
